I was first introduced to Frida Kahlo in the 80s by two postcards sent by a friend, the artist was barely known then, and gradually the enigmatic figure became fleshed out by books and documentaries. Lovely to source the right materials to make this image into wearable art.

One of a kind Art Necklace. Found image of artwork mounted under glass and framed in an antique copper frame. A lovely photograph of Frida with braided hair and shawl. I was delighted to find handmade lampwork sugar skull beads, handmade glass fruit and chillis to use in this piece. These and other charms hang from a textured antique brass chain. A photo image of guitars is on the reverse. Comes to you in a gift box. Multiple and non UK postage rates on application, as prices vary.
