I had been making a few baby items for a friends new baby boy and thought it would be nice to make something for a baby girl. I choose the colours of the yarns after seeing the white blossom on my plum tree and the yellow of the daffodils growing underneath it. The colours and brighter sunnier weather of spring inspired the idea of a sundress.

Full description
A pretty baby sundress crocheted in pale yellow. The dress is design for a premature baby or small newborn. I have used 100% acrylic yarn so it can be machine washed at 40%. It would be best to lay it flat to dry so the dress keeps its shape. The dress is finished in white with an attractive shell edge pattern along the hem of the dress and a yellow and white flower. The dress does up at the back with a yellow button.
Approximate dress measurements are
Length from top of shoulder strap to hemline 9.5inches (24cm)
Under arm width is 5.4inch (14cm) across.
