Full description
This fused glass hanging panel features a dazzling dragonfly against the backdop of water and sky. The attractive glass panel would make a wonderful mood enhancing feature in a window or against a light coloured wall.
This one is made to order, so please allow ten days to make.
The dragonfly is made from wonderful dichroic glass, which is just the most fabulous glass because of its dazzling multi-coloured, reflective properties. A little goes a long way. Please note that the photos do not do justice to the dichroic's wonderfulness!
It is sure to be a talking point in your home and would make an unusual gift for just about anyone. Ideal for friends with a taste for something a little out of the ordinary or for that person who is usually hard to buy for.
Please note that this design is adapted from a book on glass fusing.
The hanging fused glass panel was created by hand in my home studio using only fully tested compatible best quality glass. The fusing glass is then fired and properly annealed to ensure durability and strength in my kiln. The lower layer is transparent.
This cool fused glass hanging sun catcher measures approx 12 x 16.5 cm (4.75 x 6.5in), and hangs with a handmade copper wire inclusion and pretty ribbon.
