I'm interested in miniature art and saw a painting on a grain of rice at a museum and felt inspired to try something similar in the form of writing.
I have since discovered it is an ancient art-form.
Rice writing is the art and skill of being able to write small enough on a grain of rice.
Many rituals and rites use rice as a medium, but at some point in ancient Anatolia artisans who were skilled in making miniature paintings decided to turn their skill to making art with what had always been an ancient symbol of prosperity, the oldest example of which lies in Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. The artisans would inscribe messages or names on a single grain of rice after it was treated and polished

Miniature snow globe made with blue glitter and distilled water to prevent it turning yellow.
Inside you could have a name or date of your choice hand written onto a grain of rice and placed inside this beautiful crystal glass pendant, the perfect gift for a new parent, bridesmaids, friends and family members.
The glass pendant is a clear heart shaped bottle measuring 5 x 20 x 10mm. The rice will be enclosed inside the bottle using a miniature bottle stopper and cap both of which will be fixed into place using special glue.
The pendant comes attached to a 16" sterling silver 925 stamped snake chain.
