Full description
I have forged this piece from 1.6mm solid bronze wire
A very pretty handmade lampwork glass heart as the focal point in this lovely fibula.
The heart was made by a very talented glass artist, Ilona Ruttle. It is semi transparent with patches of lemon & pale beige inside the glass and a pretty little red and white flower on both sides of the heart.
I've added some little sterling silver beads, red glass beads and silver ceramic spacers to compliment the colours of the heart.
This piece has a lovely spring feel to it and would be perfect on a shawl or shrug.
The pin measures approx. 70mm x 50mm
Please note that this pin is not suitable for close woven fabrics such as cotton due to the thickness of the wire.
