Brydie and Katherine were fed up with the daily problem of identifying the correct scooters in the hustle and bustle of the playground. Brydie had the idea of making plastic names plates to brighten up and personalise her children’s scooters. Along with her friend, Katherine the prototype was made and as the kids proudly showed off their new accessory an increasing amount of children and parents commented on how great they were and enquired where they were from?
Brydie, a part time art teacher and Katherine, an event manager, both from Nottingham, realised there was a market for the colourful product. Brydie says: “The first design was drawn on the back of an envelope and the name ‘Namees’ came to us as we sat in the sandpit in the park". We have added to our range with bags tags and bike and bedroom name plates. We are very proud of our products and really excited about selling them to others.

Full description
Namees scooter name plates are a fun, funky, colourful way of adding your child’s name to their scooter. They add a unique and personalised touch and children will love identifying their own scooters in the park or playground. They make super gifts if you want something a little different.
The name plates are designed to fit vertically on the scooter frame and are made of two safe, strong, weatherproof acrylic panels. Choose your foreground and background colours from red, dark pink, green, blue, yellow, orange, purple, black, or white. We suggest you choose highly contrasting colours to make your lettering really stand out.
You can fit a maximum of 9 letters including cool icons on your Namee. Icons are pictured in the photo above. Please state butterfly, cat, dolphin, explosion, flower,heart, ice cream, rocket, shooting star, lightening, spider, splat, star, tractor, tulip or boat when ordering.
Please use the Folksy message system to inform us of your child’s name, icons you want adding and whether you want them at the top or bottom and your foreground and background colour choices.

Fixings – They are easy to attach and are supplied with 2 reusable flexible ties.
Estimated delivery times – due to the fact that this is a bespoke product your Namee will be created and delivered to arrive with you within approximately 2 weeks.
The main postage costs are for 1 or 2 Namees and 'additional items' is from 3 upwards.
