Treaclezoo con-fusion food: sushi snail
My niece Sophie overheard a conversation in which I was telling a friend (a Masterchef fan) that my latest invention was an example of “fusion food”. “Confusion food?” she asked. And so my latest range was thus named.
This cute amigurumi snail carries a carrot & avocado maki roll on his back – he IS vegetarian, after all. His body is striped in co-ordinating carrot and avocado, and likewise his tentacles match: a thoroughly well-dressed snail, who just happens to be on his way to the 2010 Escargot For Sushi Convention in Paris, where he hopes to meet up with fellow Maki Mollusca.
Dimensions: approx. 12cm long, 8cm tall.
