I love making these quirky trophies. I never tire of going through my ever-growing collection of fabrics to come up with lovely combinations; tweed and corduroy, pink and leopard or gingham and polka-dots. The combinations are endless. This is not a cow - it's a COO! And it's blue!!
I love to surround myself with quirky things that make people smile and a Scottish Highland Coo, mounted on the wall - who wouldn't love that?
I made it from a lovely light turquoise corduroy and stuffed it with new polyester stuffing. It has wonderful flowery horns and cute tweed ears. The characteristically fringe is made from yarn and the eyes and nose are felt. The eyes have an embroidered heart shaped glint.
The coo is mounted on a painted piece of wood and on the back of it there is felt and a lovely ribbon to hang the coo on the wall. To give an idea of size the wood measure 19.5cm x 19.5cm.
This is not meant for children - just playful adults!
