zombie penguins - red
these deadly cute fabric zombie penguins measure about 11cm (4.5 inches) tall from the tops of their heads to the tips of their shuffling toes.
based on original drawings by Little Black Heart, these pocket zombies are entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine so each one is completely unique.
the red floral printed cotton fabrics are appliqued onto pre-washed calico, and the intricate details are drawn freehand with free machine (free motion) embroidery. their remaining eyeball is hand embroidered.
they’re made from heavy weight calico, and backed with medium weight calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink – although i wouldn’t recommend putting these rabbits in a washing machine.
they’re stuffed with polyester filling, and finished by hand.
