This lovely map bunting is upcycled from a vintage Swiss mountain map for the Alps. This garland would look wonderful in any room and adds a lovely summer feel to your decor!
This listing is for ONE garland of bunting with 8 triangular flags, each 7 in x 4.5 in ( 17.5 cm x 11cm). They have been threaded with rescued wool.
If the flags were placed end to end on the thread, the garland would be 99 cm long (approx 3ft 3 in). We’ve included 3 m of wool (approx. 9ft 10in - over 3 yards) on the garland so that you can spread the flags out if you want to – they slide easily – and there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.
This eco-friendly garland was designed to be viewed from one side only but the backs of the flags also have beautiful maps so it would be possible to hang the garland in the middle of a room.
We have several of these lovely garlands - the flags that you have on your garland may be different from those in the photos but will have a very similar mix of lovely mountain shades...
Several garlands could be hung together to decorate a larger room, party or wedding.
Please bear in mind that this bunting is made of paper and isn't really designed for use outdoors.
