I found this fabric at a local market stall. It is strong so makes it idea for bags but the embroidered flowers are slightly shiny which gives the bag a touch of class.

This unique high quality black handbag has a versatile matching brooch which can be used to adorn the bag or jackets, coats, hats, scarves and more. Handmade from upcycled fabric remnants this stunning bag features a secure zip closure and coordinating cream lining with a useful internal zip up pocket.
Bag and Handles: Black heavy duty fabric with large embroidered flower design.
Base: The bottom of the bag is a box shape and has a strong internal cardboard base.
Handles: Reinforced for extra strength.
Lining: Cream fabric
Useful internal pocket with zip closure.
The bag is interfaced for strength.
Secure black zip closure.
Machine washable.

Brooch: Same fabric as used to make bag (6.5cm or 2.6” diameter).
Brooch centre: One lilac button (2cm or 0.75” diameter) securely sewn on by hand.
Brooch Pin: Secure brooch pin on back.
