Introducing "Claudia" Tencelino Sock Yarn from My Heart Exposed Yarns
50% superwash superfine merino 50% tencel
approx 333m per 100g skein
recommended needle size : US 0 - 2.75 or 2 - 3mm or larger for lacy shawls etc.
shades of pale aqua blue for an exciting semi solid with a good depth of colour, very shiny so difficult to photograph, really must be handled to be appreciated.
This exquisite slinky sock weight yarn is a special blend of 50% superwash superfine merino, which gives the super soft squishy feel, combined with 50% tencel, the silky gleam of tencel (produced from wood fibre) has excellent drape and lusture properties.
An absolute delight to work with, smooth yarn shows good stitch definition perfect for cables and other textured stitch formations. One 100g skein is perfect for baby items, shawls, wraps, scarves, gloves, mittens and of course, luxurious socks that can be worn all year round, this blend is much lighter and cooler to wear than 100% pure wool of a similar weight.
Only natural dyes produced directly from plants, flowers, herbs, spices and other items usually found on the grocery aisle of the supermarket are used in my designs, no harsh chemicals or irritants are in any of my products so they are kind to your delicate skin and our environment.
