Linen Bucket handbag, hand screen-printed with my ‘Flight’ design
My Flight design is inspired by common British garden birds. In my drawings using simple lines, I have tried to capture their frenetic movement, dashing around the garden searching for food.
All my bags are hand screen printed with environmentally friendly water based ink onto a strong natural linen fabric. Every bag is sewn by hand and fully lined with internal pockets in contrasting coloured cotton.
This range of bags, have a strong, waxed canvas base, making them very durable and practical. The handles are upcycled out of leather from a beautiful old sofa, stripped by a local upholsterer, they are soft and supple and add a unique beauty to each bag.
Measurements
Size of the bag – approx 11” wide, 8” tall, 3” wide at base, 10” zip opening at top and a 14” leather handle.
Care of this bag – spot clean linen top or dry clean only, Linen section can be ironed to remove creases but avoid heat to waxed canvas base and leather handles.
Due to the nature of hand printing please be aware that the placement of the print may vary in each item.
