Full description
An embroidered and felted garden design decorates the front of the re-usable cover of this 'A6' notebook.
Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of kunin felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles). Textured, hand-dyed wool tops, some of them with lovely curls, have been felted in clumps to represent the planting. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. Simple embroidery stitches, cotton threads, crewel, tapestry and knitting wools, have been used to create more foliage and the pretty flowers.
The notebook cover has been stitched in a blue and grey patterned fabric (up-cycled from a skirt), backed with interfacing and lined with a floral fabric. The supplied notebook is a standard 'A6' size and it slips into pockets in the re-usable cover. The notebook ties closed with coordinating crocheted cords.
