Oh, my favourite so far! These soft, lovely colours with a garden theme.
The fabric is Moda' 'Aviary' line featuring birds and flowers. The backing is a classic paisley. All fabrics are high quality 100% cotton.
This is a timeless quilt. I've used Heirloom Premium batting which has shrunk up so nicely for that antique quilted look.
The quilting doesn't show very well in the photos. It's done with an all-over meandering 'puzzle' stitch in 100% cotton Guterman thread.
The quilt also features a sweet ruffle at the top and bottom. (see photo)
A perfect size to adorn a chair or sofa and use as a lap quilt.
The quilt measures 98 x 120 cm.
