My sister once asked me to make her a drawstring bag she could keep her tarot cards in, so I designed the first one for her, which was made from a blue, gold and black silk and metallic brocade in April 2004; she still uses it now and has a number of others in a variety of fabrics. I also have a few of these bags myself as they are so versatile.

Full description
I have created this beautiful drawstring bag from a stunning satin brocade in a red and black Renaissance/Gothic cross and quatrefoil design. It is fully lined with black anti-static polyester and measures approximately 6 1/2 inches (165mm) wide and 8 3/4 inches (225mm) deep with black cord drawstrings situated approximately 1 1/2 inches (35mm) down from the top.
The bag is designed for storing a deck of tarot cards, and is pictured with the popular Rider Waite deck (which is not included), although it is roomy enough for a considerably larger deck, and/or a small notebook.
Alternatively the bag could be used for storing jewellery, cosmetics, medication or even a collection of crystals (I have one of mine hanging from a drawer handle with packets of incense in it). You could even use it as a small evening bag since the drawstrings are long enough to loop over your shoulder when the bag is closed, and it can easily hold a mobile phone, a small purse and a few other essentials.
Please be aware that the fabric used for this bag is no longer in production, I still have a small quantity in stock but when it’s gone I won’t be able to get any more, so this is a strictly limited edition bag.
