Inspired by my recent purchase of a typewriter and my love of sewn drawings, it's my first attempt at drawing something properly with a sewing machine and i'm proud of the results!!

Full description
Beautiful handmade cushion cover made from soft cream calico on the front with a hand designed and appliqued typwriter on the front featuring patches of Cath Kidston fabric.
Pink Rosali spot makes up the pattern behind the keys, blue provence rose makes up the space bar, pastel paisley makes up a part in the middle.
I have used measuring tape ribbon to make up the measuring bar on the typewriter and I have used a typewriter to print 'once upon a time.....' onto the sheet of paper.
The Black machine embroidery that creates the typewriters shape has been done completely by me on a standard sewing machine and so has been very labour intensive and this can be appreciated by the stunning final image of the cushion!!
I have used black dry letter transfers to make up the letters and numbers on the keys on the typewriter, and they have been delicatly kept in place with a thin layer of glue, this should make the letters stick but they are intentionally slightly 'distressed' already.
The back of the cushion is made from Cath Kidston White Rosali ( cabbage flowers ) and there is a very discreet cream zip in the bottom of the cushion cover.

Made for a 14 inch cushion inside.
Completely handmade but I would not really recommend machine washing, wash very carefully by hand if you have to.
DOES NOT INCLUDE CUSHION PAD!!
Would make a perfect present!!
