This piece is truly a one off. I'd had a sheet of cranberry bullseye glass for several year, unused as was quite expensive due to the gold content and I hadn't found that special thing to use it in.
Anyway eventually made a heart for a friend and dropped the sheet -oops, so with the broken pieces which I just couldn't throw away decided that I would try to incorporate them in a sun catcher - and here it is.
Doubt that one will ever be made again as I've no more cranberry glass so get yourself a one off!

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
This sun catcher has been made with beautiful stained glass which compliments one another with the added attraction of a bee.
The glass used in the grasses are cranberry pink bullseye glass which is a beautiful deep cerise pink, Christmas green hammered glass, turquoise florentine glass and teal restoration glass. I think the colour combination looks beautiful The bee has been made from yellow water glass and clear irridised granite back glass, strips of copper foil have been soldered on to the body and a patina applied to blacken.
The bee measures 10.5 cms x 8 cms and the overall size of the suncatcher is 12 cms x 22 cms.
I will supply one good quality window hook so you can hang this sun catcher as soon as received.
