'Nesting' is a hand carved original Linocut inspired by the three chickens that live in my garden and hopefully the soon to arrive Springtime! One of my mother hens often goes 'broody' and will not leave her eggs during the spring and summer months waiting for them to hatch.

Full description
This is a large Linocut, image measuring 43cm x 44cm, on paper 75cm x 53cm
Each print is lovingly printed by hand and therefore due to the amount of elbow grease needed to print such a large Lino I have limited this edition to only 30.
I am going to try and vary the colours slightly in each print to help create a truly unique piece of work. Because the carving will be printed by hand (hand pressing the ink onto the paper rather than using a relief or etching press), this will create little variations and differences in the way the ink is printed and gives the artwork a distinctive handmade quality which adds to its individuality.
This is the third print of the limited edition, it would make a lovely feature in any kitchen or dining room!
Printed on Zerkall printing paper and professional oil based printing inks.
