I've just sold this one but will be making another. If you want one now please contact me and I will make one for you right away.
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a simple floral design, of a beautiful blue flower, an iris. I've used lots of streaky glass to make it extra pretty. Its strappy leaves are bright green and it has a pretty floral bead at the centre of the flower enhanced with some pieces of golden yellow iridescent glass.
The suncatcher hangs from a chain which is securely attached to the top of the iris which is 13 cm high and 8cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece even when making the same pattern.
The 5th photo is of the previous iris I sold so you can see that each is unique though both are made to the same pattern.
It will make a lovely present for anyone. It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light and welcomes in the sunshine.
