This is a reserved and custom order for Ivik - please do not purchase this item unless you are this customer....however, if you would like me to make you a custom bird or birds please do get in touch as I would be delighted to help.
This elegant birdie bride and groom make a stylish couple! The groom is made from black linen fabric with contrasting ivory felt breast and fabulous lace applique wings. He wears a dashing black felt top-hat to which I have added a cluster of ivory/white flowers with two tiny sage leaves. He also wears a dark charcoal grey tie.
His glamorous bride is made from an ivory jacquard fabric, she too has lace applique wings and a delicate lace veil edged with handcut felt flowers. The flowers are in alternate shades of white and ivory, each with a tiny pearl seedbead centre. Interspersed between the flowers are little sage green leaves for further interest and colour.
Both birds have cinnamon brown felt beaks and black seedbead eyes mounted on little circles of ivory felt for added definition. Both bride and groom are firmly filled with polyester toy filling and made to confidently free-stand on legs formed from re-purposed copper wire.
Post is first class.
