Full description
This graphic art screenprint in red is of the Hendersons Relish factory sign. The image is of a photograph that I took before the sign disappeared for good. This sign is the old well weathered double panel wooden sign. After half of the sign disappeared it was eventually replaced with a new shiny plasic one which has lost the character of the old sign.
Hendersons Relish is synonymous with Sheffield and has been part of the city for over 100 years. It is a factory caught in a time warp. The print shows the detail of the sign and the red brick building with the top of an old corrugated roof at the bottom.
Each print comes with a matching printed and numbered envelope in a cellophane sleeve.
Coloured hand pulled screenprint.
Signed and Numbered.
