Full description
A beautiful display featuring delphiniums, hollyhocks and daisies, is embroidered in miniature onto this brightly pretty floral brooch.
The background has been felted, using an embellisher machine, using a variety of hand dyed fibres and yarn snippets. The flowers have been added in embroidery threads, using simple stitches..
The design is framed by couching over a twist of space-dyed, slubbed, yarn. The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
Height - 5.0 cm approx
Items of embroidered jewelry may not be entirely colourfast and care should be taken that jewellery items do not get wet in use in case colour should be transferred to items of clothing.
