Love Birds Sun Catcher - painted flash glass, surrounded by soldered copper foil with a wire for hanging.
I have painted this little heart sun catcher with glass paint and engraved away the burgundy flashing at the back to expose clear glass for the eyes and beaks. This gives the piece a little more depth. It is then fired until the paint becomes indelible.
Approx 8cm x 9cm. Needs a good light source as burgundy flash glass is a deep colour.
