Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is a new design, a simple flower, a beautiful purple and white pansy.
I've used streaky glass and some white iridescent to make it extra pretty. The leaves are bright green and it has a pretty floral bead at the centre.
The suncatcher hangs from a chain which is securely attached to the top of the iris which is 10 cm high and 8cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece even when making the same pattern.
It will make a lovely present for anyone, especially for Mother's Day. It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light and welcomes in the sunshine.
