Full description
Yew is one of my favourite types of wood. You never know what delights await when opening up a log.
This memory stick has been cut along the length of the log and retains its bark along one edge.
I do favour a finish that allows the ‘woodiness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and hard wax finish.
Superstitious?
…then with a wooden memory stick, you can always ‘Touch Wood’! And the Yew is considered by some to be the most potent tree for protection against evil!
