Full description
It is such a thrill to open the kiln lid and see how my ceramic jewellery pieces have turned out. This dazzling circular brooch is one of my favourites. After bisque firing the buff clay I apply a flame red glaze which has orange and crimson flecks, then overlay a few streaks of white to create what looks like comets over Mars. The brooch pin is lockable and made from silver plate. If you like large brooches, this one will not dissapoint!
