A customer asked for a novelty item to hold £2 coins and these little bottles became very popular at the craft fairs I used to attend.

Full description

I am sorry these items have been out of stock for a time due to commitments on other projects. These little containers stand on average five inches high and can be used for any number of purposes but I designed them at the request of a customer to take £2 coins. They will also hold 50p pieces and of course anyhting smaller. They are called pop bottles in the craft because when turned correctly the stopper makes a popping sound when pulled. Wood being a natural material which reacts to its environment I keep items like this in the house for at least two weeks before placing them for sale in case there is any movement, but as I have no control over the environment in which customers keep them or the uses to which they are put I cannot guarantee there will be no further movement. I make them from various timbers and right now I am using oak, acacia and beech. Stock is changing all the time but I will try my best to give customers their choice of wood.

NB. I shall be producing slightly larger bottles to hold the new £5 pieces when they are finally issued this year (or next).
