I was approached by a customer at a craft fair and asked if I could turn a lid for a bowl she already owned. The result was well received and inspired me to turn a number of lidded bowls.

Full description
This bowl is turned from Purpleheart, a timber from Central and South America. When cut the wood is a dull brown but quickly turns purple on exposure to light. I do not use paint or stain on any of my work. This item is five inches wide and stands approx four inches high. It is treated with a high quality non-toxic wax finish and is not recommended for use with foodstuffs.
