Hi there and welcome to this 'Swanky Tramps', sale !!

Here we have a really lovely extendable dining table and 4 chairs originally by Rossmore before being rejuvenated by SwankyTramps! An absolutely top quality set that has had previous use so may well have a few signs of wear which is only in keeping with it's 'Shabby Chic', style. The table is really solid structurally with a very neat, internal butterfly extension for those times when it's just not quite big enough. It is a really neat size being not too long, a nice thick top with glorious scalloped edges, the single bulb pedestal has 4 legs.

The 4 chairs have lovely, carved detail backrests with turned spindle legs and turned stretchers. We have reupholstered these in a beautiful Ivory and Jardin Verte (green!) Toile de Jouy linen fabric.

We have hand painted this set in multiple layers of Old English White over Jardin Verte, French Grey and some touches of Burnished Black. We have then distressed the whole set to give hints of all the shades and a glorious 'blend' finish to the table top. The whole lot has then been treated to 3 coats of top quality wax that gives it a lustrous feel, adds warmth and age to the finish as well as protection. We have tried our best with the pics but, we can assure you, they most certainly do not do this lovely dining set justice!
