Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to achieve.
I wanted to make a rich sumptuous heart clock. The heart shape - though common - took a lot of refining to reach the result you see here. The mottled red glaze - some potters will tell you that you can't achieve a decent red at stoneware temperatures - also took a bit of experimentation.
My wife says these clocks are: For your lover, For your mother, For another, For yourself.

The movements used in these clocks are of a very high quality and are guaranteed in the UK for five years. After that, and in the rest of the world, the movements can be replaced at cost. (Art Clocks reference: 00316.)

Full description
This dramatic heart-shaped clock has a gorgeous rich mottled red glaze inside, and a metallic gold and pewter-coloured glaze around the edges.
The face of this heart wall clock is flat with no sides - this is an individually-made tile. There are 4 red dots so it is easy to tell the time. The clock measures 7.5 inches wide by 7.5 inches high (19cm x 19cm). The hour and minute hands are gold-coloured, the second-hand is very simple and unobtrusive. The movement is a quality German movement which is quiet and reliable.
My hope is that you will find this heart clock beautiful, as well as useful - either for your own home or as a gift.
