One in a series of 'harvest' items inspired by the felt I have created using my collection of hand-dyed fibers. This one combines with my lifelong love of miniaturisation!

A detailed and pretty, felted and embroidered cover, containing a pad of sticky notes, attached to a split ring and charm cord - a quirky gift.
Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of kunin felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles). A wide variety of yarn snippets, carefully collected from other yarn projects, together with tiny felt leaves, have been added to represent the cornfield. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. The cover is edged in blanket stitch using threads to match the areas of the design. Simple embroidery stitches have been used to embroider poppies and daisies.
The cover is lined with a cream fabric, backed with interfacing. A felt pocket holds the standard-sized, miniature pad of sticky notes (supplied). The notepad ties closed with crocheted cords in a pale blue pure wool yarn. A split ring is securely stitched to the top of the cover - to allow use as a keyring fob. A charm cord is fastened by its lobster claw clasp to the ring. A partially practical and very pretty and quirky accessory.
