I find seaside images so restful and calming, especially as they evoke memories of my childhood. I think its perfect for a hot water bottle cover.

WHEN THE BOAT COMES IN
An unusual seaside themed hot water bottle cover knitted in lambswool to one of my own designs.
It features returning fishing boats with their catch and a harbour and cottages set against an evening sky.
The pattern extends around the back of the cover too!
A hot water bottle cover not only insulates and keeps your hottie hotter for longer but provides a lovely soft surface to have against your skin. Why should they be boring and functional when they can be fun and decorative?
We really do under rate our humble hotties!
In Winter they warm our icy toes at the bottom of the bed or are snuggled just for comfort and warmth throughout the rest of the year. When having a rest from it's duties the bottle can look cute and decorative too, placed on a chair or bed it provides a cheery hello to you and your guests.
So a hottie makes a perfect indulgence for you or a gift for someone you love, especially if the design evokes happy memories and sweet dreams for many years to come.
There is a pillow case closure at the back and at the top it has a ribbed cuff which allows easy filling when the cover is on.
