applique and embroidered hoop – what better way to say ‘i love you’ this valentine’s day than with a zombie?
based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, this design is entirely made by me on a domestic sewing machine.
this little minx is wearing a pretty cotton dress in a riley blake print with black linen sleeve and sash detail, her red eyes and lovely lipstick contrast with her deathly pale blue linen skin & her eyeballs are hand embroidered.
the cotton fabrics are layered and appliqued onto pre-washed calico, intricate details drawn on with free machine (free motion) embroidery, including the (threat)words “i love your insides just as much as your outsides”
everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each hoop is unique, well made and securely constructed.
these hoops are 14cm (5”) in diameter, the reverse side is lined with red cotton.
i aim to post items out within 24 hours of payment, via first class mail.
