I have always loved to paint all wildlife and big cats are very much a favorite of every one, we sadly usually only see them in captivity but a kenya safari brought them up close, creating many wonderful photos and drawings to give inspiration to these magical moments to capture them in a painting. Among the grasses, Lioness portrait, Kenya, oil on triple primed board, framed in hand made french polished ash frame. Painting size unframed is 10 X 12 inches. 25.3 X 31 cm. painting including frame 31 cm X 36 cm. Dammar varnished.
