In the clean deep waters of the Atlantic these fish were so common that as a child we used to fish just off our local harbour. In January this once abundant fish was put on the endangered list and it got me thinking about how beautiful these fish are and how could I captured this image in glass

Kiln fused using artist glass this mackerel design will look beautiful in any room. It is designed and hand made so each piece is unique.
Mackerel is one of our most iconic and beautiful local fish with flashes of silver, blue and black on a clear background
The colours will not fade and they can be used for interiors or exteriors. Also they are completely food safe and can be washed in warm soapy water.
