I've had this cute little elephant as a doodle in my sketch book for a while now, wondering how to make it into a pendant, then I had one of those lightbulb moments and thought, "a brooch!"

Full description
This sweet little elephant brooch has been made from aluminium which I have dyed in ribbons of turquoise and minty green. I then seal the dye so that it becomes a permanent part of the metal. I saw pierce the elephant shape by hand bending the ear a little so that it is more three dimensional and filing the edges to give a nice smooth finish.
The brooch measures 32mm x 22mm and has a stainless steel brooch fitting on the back.
