Stained Glass Sailing Boats depicts two jaunty yachts sailing with the wind on a beautiful, wavy aquamarine ocean. Richly coloured, it glows beautifully in the sun and will look absolutely fabulous hanging where it can catch the light.
This one is made to order so please allow ten days to make.
Handcrafted by me, this light catcher is absolutely unique, and will make an interesting gift idea, particularly if you have a keen sailor in mind
I have used glass of different textures and effects, combining sunshine yellow, fiery orange and streaky white for the yacht sails with aquamarine for the sea and a gorgeous blue for the sky, to stunning effect. This is real stained glass, not painted on!
Sailing Boats is created using the traditional Tiffany technique and the solder is finished off with a black patina, finally polished up with carnauba wax to give it everlasting shine.
.
Approx 19 x 15.5 cm (7.5 x 6 in), it comes ready to hang with two soldered rings and a pretty ribbon.
