My inspiration for this beautiful print was the stunning red rose which blooms in my garden every year. Climbing up the side of the house in the sunshine it has a perfect spot to flourish.
I always mix different media in my designs and the vase is cut from a hand-painted intricate decorative tile textile design in gouache.

Beautifully detailed butterflies flutter encircling a floral explosion of red roses and pansies, photographed in my garden they are intermixed with skin-print and cork textured leaves.
All are displayed in or around a central vase decorated with a hand- painted red tile textile design.
Printed on a quality water-colour Bockingford paper.
