Full description
This large sized Ash bowl has been made from a 200 year old tree that was brought down naturally in strong winds when a larger nearby Beech tree that fell into it. The wood has been allowed to dry naturally for over a year before turning.
The bowl has a natural bark edge on one side that gives it unique character. A small foot has been turned on the base that adds subtle elegance.
Once turned the bowl has been sanded smooth inside and out before being waxed and buffed to a lovely shine.
