Turned wooden boxes are such fun to make and sometimes a challenge too. I had one as a child used to wonder just how they did it. Well now I know and the possibilities are endless!

Full description
This Apple jewellery box is ideal for holding rings and other fine jewellery and looks equally good as a display piece. It’s quite roomy for a small box too!
The box itself is made from Apple wood that was locally grown and kiln dried.
After turning I have sanded the box perfectly smooth, sealed it and then used natural wax inside and out before buffing to a beautiful sheen. The stalk of the apple which serves as a handle to lift the lid also makes an ideal ring holder.
This would be a perfect gift for someone special or to keep as a treat for you!
