"Treescape" an Original Linocut Print ( not a reproduction.)
I love trees, the hundreds of shades of green and different types of leaves ...all very individual a bit like us!
After drawing the lino plate, I hand carve and ink it by hand, then the lino block is put to a press onto the paper.This particular one has hand painted details, so very unique and special!
Hand printed and hand signed in pencil by myself, in my studio, on beautiful deckle edge BFK Rives Printing Paper - size measure 13"x10" inch.
The linocut in the photo has been trimmed to fit a frame - 16"x12"inch - that has an opening of 11.50"x8" inches. This is a standard size frame available on the high street.
The last photo is in a 14"x11"inches back loading frame. (sometimes I like to see the deckle edges of the paper)
Sold unframed and unmounted.
The linocut will be sent to you in protected packaging and a cellophane sleeve to ensure safe delivery.
