I have designed this hankie using sketches that I did whilst on holiday is Tuscany and France. I sat in Lucca and watched women cycling around this beautiful walled city and sketched both them and their bikes. The next year I was in France and spent time recording the lopped trees that you see everywhere in the south. The result is this humorous hankie!

Full description
This pale blue cotton lawn handkerchief is large enough to tie round a child's head or use as a pocket handkerchief. It measures 47 cm square and has a centre panel of cyclists wearing patterned dresses and riding sturdy bikes. The border is of fence posts interspersed with lopped tress and round the very outside is my undulating cyclist border. The fabric was digitally printed onto cotton lawn which I have cut into squares and machine stitched the edges.
