Full description

I have hand forged this elegant shawl pin from solid bronze wire and beautiful hand made lampwork beads made by Tania Grey. The focal bead is clear amber glass with a swirly pattern of darker amber and white. The two accompanying glass beads are a pale amber and have been etched for that 'sea glass' look.

Sterling silver beads add contrast and set off the lampwork beads beautifully.

These pins look great with a winter scarf or shawl, wrap or coat. Due to the thickness of the wire used, 1.6mm, the pin isnt suitable for close woven fabrics such as cotton. It is, however, fine with loose weaves such as knitted garments or wool mixes.

The fibula measures approx. 70mm x 40mm
