embroidered zombie girl fabric bookmark.
based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, this bookmark is entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine.
this little minx is wearing a pretty cotton dress in bright stripes with a coordinating print bodice – her red eyes contrast with her deathly pale blue linen skin & her eyeballs are hand embroidered.
the cotton fabrics are layered and appliqued onto pre-washed calico, intricate details drawn on with free machine (free motion) embroidery, before i make up the finished item.
everything is cut, stitched freehand and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each bookmark is unique, well made and securely constructed.
they are made up with heavy weight pre-washed calico, backed with medium weight pre-washed calico – so they should not shrink when washed – and the edges are neatly topstitched.
these bookmarks are quite substantial, measuring approximately 25 cm x 6 cm (10” x 2.5”) and they are stiffened with interlining.
i aim to post items out within 24 hours of payment, via first class mail. any excess postage will be refunded via paypal.
