I've been using free machine embroidery for a little while, and a customer asked if I would consider doing a grandma's and grandad's glasses case, so I worked up a few designs.

Lovely, handmade grandma's glasses case.
I've made a glasses case as a special gift for a grandma - I have another listed for a grandad (both are shown together in one of the pictures). I've appliqued a bird and leaf design onto the case, choosing a pretty floral sprig print, and machine embroidered 'Granny's glasses onto the leaf.
The case is padded and fully lined, with a cheerful pink and red polka dot cotton. I've handstitched the sides, to show off the lining. It closes with a floral shaped button and elastic loop. It's perfect to help protect glasses.
