Full description
I almost don't want to take the credit for this scarf, as it's all about the novelty yarn, now discontinued (Paton's Coast). Each strand has two strands (if you see what I mean), one with a sheen, and has interwoven "taggie" bits (technical knitter's terminology!)
It is very soft, I stood in the wool shop snuggling it for ages before dragging myself away.
I've knitted it on big needles so there are plenty of warmth-grabbing gaps between the strands.
Unstretched it's about 6 foot long, around 8 inches wide, more than enough to double and "poke through".
The label says warm machine wash (30), dry flat. I would only wash it in a lingerie bag as the taggy bits might catch otherwise.
