A childhood teatime classic ;)
Golden breaded fish fingers, chips and peas with a little dollop of tomato ketchup.
The fish fingers are hand embroidered with french knot "breadcrumbs", the chips are cut by hand, complete with one slightly wonky one, the ketchup is sewn into a swirl as if it has just come out of the old glass sauce bottle and each pea is completely spherical.
Developed at the Birdseye factory in Great Yarmouth, the Fish Finger was to become one of the great British teatime staples.
My mum loves fish fingers. I remember her cooking far more than my sister and I would eat so she could eat the leftovers.
Designed completely by me ;)
Made from felt and stuffed with polyfil. Completely hand sewn, embroidered and stuffed.
Please note that as each fish finger, chip and pea is hand cut, embroidered and sewn, they may very slightly in each piece.
Remember you get two fish fingers, five chips, 8 peas and the dollop of tomato ketchup in this set ;)
