Full description

This beautiful Ash platter bowl has been turned from locally grown kiln dried timber. The rim and bowl of the dish are interrupted by a fine bead and the base, with an ogee curve and small foot features a characterful knot at the top. The pale finer grain has a translucent quality that shows a ripple when caught by the light. After turning the bowl has been sanded until perfectly smooth, sealed and finished with natural carnauba wax before buffing to a beautiful high sheen.

Ideal for holding little nik-naks, wrapped sweets, potpourri, or simply as a display piece.

This bowl is not waterproof and should not be used in a damp environment
