I love using free machine embroidery to ‘draw’ on my cushions it is such a lovely technique with so much freedom to experiment.

Full description
This pretty cushion depicts a summery garden scene. The design features 2 birds, a table and chairs, windows and lots of flowers in a boarder around the bottom and sides of the cushion. The background is plain white; each of the items in the image is made from a mixture of vintage fabrics, free machine embroidered to add all of the pretty details. The table in the image has been made using a piece of new oilcloth fabric. The back of the cushion is envelope style in a gorgeous vibrant vintage floral pattern. The back is sealed with vintage buttons sewn through both layers of the envelope flap. Complete with a luxury hollow fibre cushion pad. Due to the oilcloth detail this item is wipe-clean only.
This item would look beautiful in a living room or bedroom and would make a perfect gift.
